Apply a lightweight moisturizer with at least SPF 30 to prime your face before applying any makeup products. Skin hydration and sun protection will promote healing and prevent scarring.

FULL COVERAGE

Until your skin is fully healed, you can achieve full coverage of any bruises by applying liquid foundation and concealer with your fingertips for a more gentle touch.

PRODUCT LOYALTY

Stick to skincare and makeup products that are tried and true. You never know how your skin will react to new products, so recovery is no time to try potentially irritating makeup.

PROPER CLEANSING

How you remove your makeup is just as important as how you apply it. Remove makeup with a cleansing oil or balm instead of makeup wipes to avoid pulling at your sensitive skin.
